The first full moon of 2026 is set to light up skies across the West Midlands on Saturday night, with clear weather predicted. Also known as the Wolf Moon, it will be the fourth supermoon in a row following October's Harvest Moon, November's Beaver Moon and the Cold Moon in December.
The 2026 lunar calendar begins with a super wolf moon, a celestial event during which the full moon appears significantly larger and brighter than average due to its proximity to Earth.
