Tom Noonan's "Monster Squad" director Fred Dekker announced the actor has died at 74. He was known for roles in "Robocop 2" and Michael Mann films.

Tom Noonan, an actor and director whose imposing presence made him one of Hollywood’s most memorable screen villains, died on Feb. 14.

Noonan had a nearly 40-year career on TV and in film, making his mark with a role in "Manhunter," the 1986 movie based on a Thomas Harris novel.
