The NHL made its return to the Winter Olympics on Wednesday after a 12-year hiatus, and three members of the Tampa Bay Lightning took to the ice in Italy to kickstart the Milano Cortina 2026 games.

The 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics will feature some of the NHL 's brightest stars.

The NHL is allowing its players to participate for the first time since 2014, making this one of the most anticipated events of the Games.
